• Microplastics are making mice fat. What about humans?

  A Kentucky lab put microplastics in the drinking water of male mice. At the higher dose, they gained extra weight within 3 weeks. They were still ahead at week 12. In 2024 the same lab ran the test again. Mice on the smaller particles gained extra weight again, mostly fat.
